Paul Klee, Separation in the Evening, 1922, 79, watercolour and pencil on paper on cardboard, 33,5 x 23,2 cm, Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern, donation Livia Klee
The exhibition will be shown first at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, and then in the ZPK. In Bern, there will be a greater focus on Paul Klee’s teaching and his pupils. This exhibition will show the global significance of Bauhaus theory for design education and development until the present day, against the background of the radical geopolitical changes of the 20th century. This is a cooperation with Bauhaus Dessau, Weimar and Berlin as well as the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin.
