Til 2016 Galerie Fischer was the oldest Swiss Auction House and one of Europe’s leading auctioneers. At its auctions of fine art as well as for antique arms and armour the Galerie Fischer achieved prices which caused national and international attention regulary.  All the auction catalogues were research-based and are much sought-after as reference books.

Besides the auction sales the Galerie Fischer was also engaged in a non commercial matter in the art market in thermes of art exhibitions.

Since 2016 until further notice the Galerie Fischer Auktionen AG does not stage any auction. For the present it concentrates on appraisals, inventories, art consulting and private deals.
