From a 1940s-style French boudoir to a cosmopolitan lounge combining traditional and modern periods, visitors to the inaugural Chicago International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show can discover four fully-decorated room vignettes as part of the 2014 Designer Showcase in partnership with the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID-IL). Four ASID-IL members - Basically Bedrooms & Interiors, Fredman Design Group, Interiors by Mary Susan, and NM Design House – will incorporate art, antiques and jewelry from the more than 100 participating exhibitors on the Show floor at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, 600 E. Grand Ave., from April 24 through 28, 2014.
In addition, all design industry professionals are invited to attend the Chicago International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show at no charge on Sunday, April 27, for Design Industry Day.
ASID-IL, the leading professional interior design association in the state, representing the interests of over 1,100 residential and commercial interior designers, industry partners, educators and students, will also be represented at the Show vis-à-vis its “Chosen by ASID-IL” program, whereby a select number of items for sale are especially selected and recognized by ASID-IL for excellent design. ASID-IL members will also be on-site all weekend at their “Find a Designer” booth, offering expert advice on how to incorporate the Show’s treasures into guest’s décor and sharing the unique benefits of hiring and working with an ASID-IL designer.
