The Voice Currency

(Friday) (Sunday)

'The Voice Currency - towards a new exchange system' is an innovative exhibition with a focus on new engagement systems in contemporary art and design. This will be the very first show of its kind, looking
at a new, generative method of exhibition making.

Working in collaboration with partners, associate curators, artists and design practitioners, CFCCA will open Gallery 1 to a sharing of ideas through a broad exploration of projects and people, with the aim of initiating ongoing, trans-cultural dialogues.

The exhibition is not conceived as a static display of finished products, but rather uses the work of two associate curators - Beatrice Leanza (Creative Director, Beijing Design Week) and Pan Jianfeng (founder of SHtype, Shanghai), to launch the gallery as a living, breathing lab.

In conjunction with the exhibition, 'Making Community - not the map nor the territory', curated by Beatrice Leanza, will be presented for the first time in an international context, showcasing a selection on ongoing initiatives and interdisciplinary practises.
