"First Offerings: A Selection of First-Year Paintings" is a selection of works by foundation painting students from BFA Cartooning, BFA Design, BFA Fine Art and BFA Illustration who are enrolled in the SVA Honors Program, curated by BFA Fine Arts faculty member Leigh Behnke and student Stella Song.This show represents the first efforts by these students as they develop the skills and techniques that will carry them into their chosen career paths. These paintings, selected and offered for the event by the students, show the range and diversity of the art produced over their first year.
