Antonella Zazzera

(Wednesday) (Friday)

The Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro dedicates a personal exhibition to Antonella Zazzera, winner of the second edition of the “Premio Arnaldo Pomodoro per la scultura” (Arnaldo Pomodoro Sculpture Prize). The exhibition, curated by Ada Masoero, presents a large installation and eighteen works in different formats in the exhibition spaces of 9, via Vigevano, most of which have been especially created for this occasion.

The works in the exhibition give us the opportunity to appreciate one of the clearest qualities of Antonella Zazzara’s work, the “naturalness” that is never “easy”, but rather the fruit of the encounter between a deep familiarity with life and the rhythms of the earth and a closely controlled planning, in a stimulating interweaving of Nature and Culture.

The seventh issue of the “Quaderni” will be published for the exhibition that presents the works installed in the exhibition space and documents Zazzara’s creative career, with texts in Italian and English, in an essay by Ada Masoero, a conversation with the artist and a short bio-bibliography.

Selection of further exhibitions in: Italy
