Explore our galleries as a Dino Scientist in this self-guided activity.

Pupils will be given white lab coats and scientist logbooks as they take up the Dino Scientist challenge. The interactive workbooks will lead students through our galleries and encourage them to use their scientific skills to work out the diet, movements and habitats of ancient fossil animals.

Teachers will also be given an educator's guide to help students get the most out of their visit.

Learning themes: working scientifically, fossils, adaptation, teeth and feeding, bones and movement.

Location: Pick up your Dino Scientist kit from the Schools Reception, Green Zone, lower ground floor.The Dino Scientists logbook will be given to students when they arrive at the School Reception on the day of their visit.We also have an educator's guide and a leaflet for adult helpers assisting on the day - you can download these and the student's logbook (for reference purposes) below:Booking Required
