For the first time NGV International and NGV Australia will open on Good Friday, 25 March and remain open for the entire Easter period. As part of Easter Weekend programming, the NGV has announced a new band to play on March 25 as part of the Friday Nights line-up, alternative rock band Died Pretty. The much-loved alternative rock band have reunited for a final tour, seven years after their last national tour. Having already sold out a run of shows across Australia in March 2016, this is the final chance to hear the band’s most-loved songs before they return to hibernation. The band’s highly acclaimed 1992 album Doughboy Hollow is regularly voted an Australian classic and features hits such as Godbless, D.C. and Sweetheart.
