Hundreds and Thousands is a chance to be inspired! An exhibition of work by young West Midlands students and tutors.
This exhibition is presented by Jonnie Turpie, the High Sheriff of the West Midlands 2015/16. It is the final event of his year long programme of activities supporting the creativity of young people from the West Midlands.
Naren Wilkes - Digital Artist presents Collideoscope, a fantastic Digital artwork first developed for The Public in West Bromwich. It creates beautiful dance movements with your own hands. A dancer from Sampad will run a workshop to help you explore this wonderful work.

Cyclomation, another digital artwork, this time you ‘peddle’ your way through stop frame animation using a converted bicycle!
Birmingham City University Illustration students show Portraits stimulated in many cases by artworks in Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery – see if you can find the links!
Work is also presented by students from Wolverhampton School of Art and Coventry University.
Selfidges are presenting a special exhibition, What on Earth are you wearing? of work from local schools from across Birmingham.
Photographs from the Some Cities Through Your Eyes project will be on show.
Video will be on show from the Maia Creatives video project for young people.
You can also make your own artwork in the workshops that accompany this exhibition. Workshops include: Making Studio-quality Selfies, Draw a self portrait, Discover Computer game design, Experiment with digital media and animation and Writing a story in 6 words!
