Russell Scott paintings. Meet the artist Saturday 20th June from 3-6pm
As a student, Birchgrove artist Russell Scott was strongly influenced by the American pop artists of the 60’s. Distinct, bright colours and interesting interpretations of shapes feature in most of his works with a fresh style that is quite unique.
Careers in the army, universities and government were followed by many successful years in his own, marketing based businesses spanning industries as diverse as insurance, property, home electronics and Internet based technologies.
Russell paints most days in his home studio/gallery. It’s prominent, corner location in Sydney’s Birchgrove provides locals with a welcome “drop in” to look and chat about his latest works.
