"These artists push the limits of technology, and, in turn, the technology opens infinite avenues to create stories, characters and universes as vast and diverse as the students' imaginations. It takes immense vision on the students' part to harness the latest technology to transform their concepts and ideas into polished short films. At its core, the exhibition is a testament to the students' passion in becoming the next wave of 3D animators and visual effects artists."BFA Computer Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects students at SVA are given the technical skills necessary to begin a successful career in film, television, commercial and video-game production. They have access to the most advanced digital applications and are guided to develop both the personal and professional capabilities expected in the top tiers of highly competitive creative industries. Using a production-based curriculum, students create professional-quality portfolios each year.
