This monographic exhibition features the latest ceramic works of Zé Dalmeida, giving us a humorous portrait of the twentieth century Portuguese poets (exceptionally including Camões and Bocage). Several dozen small polychrome sculptures with their scenic props create a new poetic álbum das glórias.
Zé Dalmeida is an award winning cartoonist who has been focused on ceramic works where he moulds an invariable sense of humour. "His" poets demonstrate an understanding of physical portrayal coupled with knowledge of the work of each one, always from a creative perspective, prompting laughter that extends also to the subtitle of the piece.
