Gallery space will be limited during this time as we prepare for our upcoming exhibition: Vida, Cultura y Color: The Art of Peter Rodriguez. Gallery space will be limited during this time as we prepare for our upcoming exhibition: Vida, Cultura y Color: The Art of Peter Rodriguez. November 20, 2015 — May 20, 2016A glimpse into the cultural impact and bright colors of Peter Rodriguez's art and life. The exhibition highlights important works by Peter Rodriguez, founder of The Mexican Museum, from his many years as an artist. Examine Rodriguez's unique artistic style and invaluable contributions to Latino cultural promotion and awareness. Co-Curators: Bea Carrillo Hocker and Nora WagnerCuratorial Consultants: Lupe Kindel and Adriana WilliamsClosing October 26, 2015Post-revolutionary Mexico saw the emergence of some of the greatest artists of the 20th century - individuals that influenced a whole generation of artists at home and abroad. The exhibition includes over 40 paintings, works on paper, and sculpture, as well as rare books and ephemera representing 30 internationally-known artists.
