Soundzz.z.zzz…z

(Freitag) (Sonntag)

Kunstmuseum Luzern and Lucerne Festival explore the correlations in visual art and music, visual expression and sound. Therefore both institutions encounter and promote the interface between the two artistic practices with a competition. With great curiosity, Kunstmuseum Luzern and Lucerne Festival will be pursuing outstanding, new and unconventional projects that fall within both fields. The competition Soundzz.zzz…z  aims to attract young, emerging solo artists or groups to develop works under the notion of ‘humor’, operating at the interface of music and visual art. The projects are supposed to be ephemeral and performance-based. The pieces selected by the jury will be realized in the exhibition space of the Kunstmuseum, over the duration of the Lucerne Festival. The projects can take any format such as interventions, events, performances, concepts developing and growing over time, series of appearances or any other kind of live events.
