Come come now the hunt is all but behind us and we need to find another! We’ll need supplies to go with our vague plans and short list of necessary personnel. We’ll need the proper clothing to look the part and the clever words to explain ourselves during all the post-production cocktail parties and congratulatory press junkets. Come come grab your nets there’s too much work left ahead of us! Lets do none of it but insist we tried while looking our Sunday best. Swing your weapons around like bad actors auditioning for unpaid parts in a foreign country. If boredom strikes we’ll drop our things and move on to the next charade, come along. We can tell the critics that the only convictions we ever had involved food, booze and sex. The fans will never know or won’t care, so long as we flash a smile when they start to lose hope. Come with me and we’ll spend the day like famous screenplay writers, crafting lazy stories to help us win votes and talk ourselves into sleeping at night. Come with me full speed, the hunt is long behind us now but we can plan out another when we want, parents gone and the weather is nice, just make sure you’re in it for the long haul.
