Wolf-Dieter Pfennig | Moonlight and Day's Work

(Wednesday) (Thursday)

For the first time, art + form is dedicating a large solo exhibition to over 50 works from two decades to painter and graphic artist Wolf-Dieter Pfennig, who was born in Dresden in 1956 and learned his craft from 1980 to 1985 at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee.

Fresh, colorful, tongue in cheek, lively, illustrative and narrative come this work. Light-footed, light-handed or light-winged, they tell of small events, curious or special situations, show pictorial thoughts, feelings, patterns of thought, characters - sometimes quite bizarre, deliberately bold and kind of hearty-sensual.

The vernissage took place on 18 March 2018; The exhibition can be visited Monday through Friday, 10 am to 8 pm and Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm in the art + form gallery on Bautzner Straße 11 in Dresden-Neustadt until 19 April 2018.
